There is a brief window of time, maybe a week or two…sometimes a few days depending on conditions, when the wildflowers of Table Mountain are at their peak. I had gone up there a few times the week I got this shot and knew that this particular afternoon was going to be special. Nice lighting, lots of clouds and a distant thunder storm made this a memorable outing for me and my family.
