A series of jagged spires rise out of the slickrock landscape of Northern Arizona as the setting sun blasts through the clouds to paint the rocks in rich red hues. The rocks, already taking on pink and orange hues, become enriched with even warmer colors. The deep polygonal shapes of the sandstone create some incredible leading lines, and I loved how the light and shadow played in this particular composition. Such a beautiful, incredible, and diverse landscape that will make you feel as if you had traveled to Mars.
