The stately Mt Rainier reflects in Reflection Lake during a late-summer sunset.
No matter how beautiful its surroundings (and they are beautiful–I’m not sure this photo or any photo really do it justice), I can’t help but feel like Rainier is a brooding, somewhat malignant presence. This giant has incredible power.
