Photography isn’t only about sunset/sunrise shots… The most intense colors and best (defused) light happens at those times, but talking a midday shot can also produce an attractive image. If the sun is hidden behind the clouds the light will still be defused, and nice image can be obtained. This is what I intended to achieve when taking this shot. So, despite the fact the clouds lack of colors I think it turned out nicely.
When it comes to the river on the image…
I was a bit disappointed seeing it with so little water. Normally in April it’s at much higher level but there was just not enough rainy days (in a recent month or two) for snow to build up, then melt. So the waterfall looks kind of “bald”.
