Seems like every year I want to shoot the coastal flowers, the schedule and weather never fully sync for me. The one time I had an opening for this shot, the day was met with howling winds and end of life blooms for the coastal flowers. To top it off, the sky didn’t set a blaze for me. Well I guess you can’t have it all. There’s still hope for sunflowers this season.
Techy stuff: Super high iso shooting the foreground just to barely get borderline sharp flowers. F8 | ISO 2000 | 16mm | 1/320. Then blended another shot for the background F16 | ISO 100 | 16mm | 1/13
