Earlier this week when the aurora was supposed to be active we set off some where “new” to try and capture it and it took us to two jack lake (located just outside Banff) the conditions when we arrived were amazing no wind at all. As it would turn out though Ryan’s tripod succomd to a leg injury. The night wasn’t a full loss he manged to rig it to stand up but the moral was crippled. I certainly hope he was able to get a good image or 2. While he was repairing in on the spot I started snapping a few pics and this was my third shot of the night hope you enjoy!
