Another image from my old growth series of forest photographs. What I really enjoy about taking photographs of forests is that in print the photos tend to have a more lasting effect on the viewer. Lately I have been displaying my photographs at galleries and it is the quieter photos that most viewers are drawn to. Richly colourful and dramatic photos do have that wow appeal but the effect is generally not long lasting. Just my observations.
