We planned to start our last day of our OOAK trip at that Wanaka tree again, but when we arrived, there were already a couple bus loads of photographers. So our lead decided to goto Glendhu Bay for sunrise. This is a secluded cove that already showed advanced Autumn colours. We parked off the road and as soon as we opened the door we heard all the bellbirds singing in melodic tunes. That’s way better than the crowd at Lake Wanaka!
