I shot this photograph at the Dardagna falls which are located at Madonna dell’acero (Corno alle scale Park), an extraordinary spot at the heart of Italy where Mother Nature didn’t spare itself. It was the first time that I’ve traveled here, thanks to my friend Attilio, and it took my breath away. The Dardagna river makes many drops and in this precise case I went for the first jump after choosing the best composition. The mass of water in this section is very large so that the lens needed to be clean continuously as the falling water sprayed a large cloud in which my equipment and I were submerged.
