I love visiting second valley for astro photography. It barely has any light pollution, and on this weekend , the nearby jetty lights were off ! I headed down before a dawn shoot to see if i could catch some stars (which was a real lottery due to rapidly shifting cloud). Fortunately the clear skies held until it nearly obscured the dawn entirely. 3 images – 2 for me holding the candles and one just before dawn for some cleaner detail in the rock shadows.
