On our first morning in Patagonia it started off looking pretty grim; the peaks were obscured and the sky was grey and gloomy. Patience did pay off though, as eventually the sun did manage to break through the clouds casting some amazing light onto the Paine Massif. This light was short-lived however, and not long after the skies opened up and the rain came in hard. This moment was a great way to kick off the trip however, and was only the beginning of a lot more great light to come.
