If you look closely to the right you will notice my tent in the distance under the pine trees. My buddies and I camped out there thinking mount hood was across from us, not realizing it was a bunch of pine trees on a hill in the distance. It was pitch dark when we arrived so we couldn’t tell, I woke up at 6.40 am at the crack of dawn and realized mount hood was to the right, quickly I woke my buddy up, grabbed my camera and tripod and dashed off into the woods running all the way around to this location and WHALA!!!there sits the The amazing Mount hood over trillium lake with a beautiful sunrise over them.
