A rising moon’s rays illuminate a foggy Lost Lake as the moon clears the trees of the Mt Hood National Forest.
I took this photo in early April before the road up to the lake was completely open. The lake was incredibly still, and the night had some great Milky Way shooting.
Technical details:
This is a four-frame panorama cropped to a standard 2:3 ratio, since the tangle of roots at the bottom of the final pano didn’t do much for me.
