It was a very depressing weather that morning with drizzle and winds and no color in the sky at all. I was at that area to shoot a seascape near by , but after realizing that the weather was going to stay like that I rushed to this pier and hoped for the best. The wind was very strong and shapes in the clouds changed every 5 minutes or so. This was the best out of 6 attempts. rain was coming and going and waves were splashing onto the pier creating the highlights that somehow resonate the light in the sky…. A single NEF file processed with Niks “Silver Efex Pro 2”. I tried to physically remove a small metallic rail hanging from the side of the pier but in fear of receiving a fine , I decided to do it in post 🙂
