Icecaves on Iceland are definitely a “must” when you visit Iceland in the winter season.
We wanted to visit a lesser known icecave, and everything was prepared already … but an avalanche spoiled our venture and made the icecave impassable for the rest of the season. So we visted the popluar Christal ice cave. The christal clear ice of the glacier is just as blue as you can see it hear!
