I have a very similar shot I posted a few months ago from this spot that showcased some beautiful sunset light. However, that was only the beginning of what was one of the best sunsets I’ve seen all year. Despite the composition being near identical, I really wanted to share the this frame from the best part of the light, and most intense of the evening. It was like this in every direction, unfortunately there was no canyon view behind me. I was yelling in excitement to my friend Colin, who was on another ridge about 50 yards away, about the quality of light we were witnessing. It was just one of those evenings out in the desert that just felt right. Despite a little hiccup, it was one incredible weekend traversing canyon country.
