This location is truly one of the must densely forested/ foliated locations I’ve seen in my home state of Oregon. For that matter anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. I went to the Olympic Peninsula the following weekend and was struck by how nothing I encountered compared to absolute lushness of this spot. A return trip is high on my list before all of the fresh spring greens begin to be eaten and brown. Rain fell during the entire outing so moisture control was paramount. The rain also added a rather cool dark atmosphere, something I tried to bring forward during processing.
