The night scenery of Salar de Uyuni is unlike any other place in the world. During the early months of the year, a thin layer of water covers the salt flat which allows for breath taking star reflections. Its extreme flatness also provides a horizon view that seems to extend into space. And the darkness that blankets the place at sun down makes it a perfect location for stargazing.
This photo is composed of three different images: One of myself, another of the stars, the last one’s for the moon-burst. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to spend as much time here as I would like and I wasn’t able to capture as much photos as I would prefer. Hopefully I would be able to make the time to come back next season. Here’s one till then 😀
