This location is known to be a difficult spot for composing landscape shots due to it’s otherworldly terrain, unpredictable fog, and strong tidal-based changes to the beach and rocks. These same factors can be positives at the right time. I had about 8 minutes until the sun went down without an inkling of what to shoot. I sat down for minute to double-tie my boots and when I looked up, this is what I saw.
