Last September I traveled trough Alberta and the Rockys around Banff NP. One of my aims was the fantastic Mount Assiniboine. The strange thing about this place was, that I was the only one on the whole campground of 2 nights. Very strange to lie in a small tent in the middle of a forest, being the only human around. But meanwhile I got used to it. Compared to the crowds all over the world it is the most amazing thing to be alone on such a magic place. The night was cold but in the morning there was nearly no wind so I could take this image of the “Matterhorn” of Canada.
