Reconstruction of a Limes Tower by benjaminhuettinger by benjaminhuettinger

This image is of a reconstruction of a limes tower. Limes towers used to be the border-guards of the roman empire which reached until far into Germany. These days is not much left of it but there are a lot of historic sights with reconstruction of remains.
This one is very nice in front of what later turned out to be a epic storm causing quite some devastation in the days after with floods.
