I met some guy leading a workshop here in Patagonia last April who made a few suggestions that I dodge and burn this image, which was shot during last year’s winter. Following his suggestions I reprocessed it by darkening the snow to some degree whilst leaving the edges so as to slightly enhance the snow formations and hopefully draw the eye inwards to the mountain, which is of course the main subject. The comments were much appreciated; having made the subtle changes I noticed a difference. I just visited this cascade yesterday and it’s now totally frozen, as is the majority of the river.
