Stand Alone Patagonia by chenxistanley by chenxistanley

Weather changes quick in Patagonia. For the last two days before the shot I was in an exhausted hike, searching for a unique spot for the shot. After went through lake cliffs, marshes, wetlands, reed swamps and forests, I was cramped, ran out of fuel without reaching the original spot I planned. In a great distress I thought I cannot fulfill the scenery in my mind and make it happen in reality. But on the day of the shot, I found this spot with much less effort than the hike before and the weather condition is more preferable for shooting. This is then the paid off, though the process was not what I expected before.
The moon is in original size as you may notice. I was standing still for the long exposure process. Sure you can shot multiple images, but make it in one shot makes the photo more meaningful.
