Another lightning shot over Tampa Bay captured Memorial Day weekend. I was out shooting landscapes, looked over my shoulder and saw lightning. I set up my D610 using intervalometer mode and set it to capture 30 sec exposures. Even though the exposure is long on a dark night the bright flash of the lightning acts as a strobe and freezes everything the moments it strikes. In this image there is even a bat captured in the sky if you look hard enough, enjoy!
