It was a banner year for wildflowers in the Columbia River Gorge. Flowers were full, and in abundance. For only a small window during the year, dense lupine and balsamroot surround this rusty, abandoned car. It is easy to feel like you’re in another world when you are here.
This was a tricky image to bring together. Multiple images were used for focus and dynamic range. Some artistic liberties were used when making this image.
