Vareid is one of the most popular seascape spots in Lofoten. And for good reason. Its a fantastic spot to shoot dramatic seascapes against a jagged backdrop of some of the finest peaks in Lofoten.
I have shot it countless times over the years, but never have i seen conditions and light like this. This is the culmination of maybe 30 visits, and to me a very important aspect of landscape photography.
Everyone was running like crazy around the place, trying to find a good composition before the light was gone. I ended up with my all time favourite shot from this place.
I dont think i ever will bring my camera there again.
