The Abyss by KieranStone by KieranStone

Scouting out new locations along the Victorian coastline. There’s nothing quite like walking to the edge of a beautiful beach and not seeing a single footprint. But the rocks will always draw me in.

A Frog’s View of Ohio – 606 Seconds by morganpt by morganpt

One of my favorite “Ohio” facts is that it means “good morning” in Japanese. So, this is a Frog’s view, just centimeters above the water, of Ohio – both the good morning and the beautiful state. I hope this image greets you to a good morning!

Old Acquaintance by goldpaintphotography by goldpaintphotography

“When you enter a grove peopled with ancient trees, higher than the ordinary, and shutting out the sky with their thickly inter-twined branches, do not the stately shadows of the wood, the stillness of the place, and the awful gloom of this doomed cavern then strike you with the presence of a deity?” – Seneca

This image was taken in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, home to the oldest trees in the world, Bristlecone Pines. Some of these living trees exceed 4000 years of age and exhibit spectacular growth forms of twisted and beautifully colored wood.

Here’s an 8 image focus stacked shot from Punch Bowl Falls, OR. I’ve never shot the falls this way before so I decided to take a crack at shooting them with a telephoto lens at 93mm. It was definitely a bit of a pain to put together but fun none the less.
