Summer Tranquility by DaniloFaria by DaniloFaria

Cathedral Rock, one of Arizona’s most photographed landscapes but no water on the pools this time. Arizona is well known for its colorful sunsets and sunrises, and Sedona has one of the reddest rocks you can find. As always, your comments and visits are appreciated!

Midnight Hoodoos by saguaropictures by saguaropictures

Strange rock formations, known as Hoodoos, have stood for thousands of years, formed by wind and water erosion. These strange rocks can be found in many areas of the Southwest. These particular Hoodoos are found in the Catalina Mountains, north of Tucson, Arizona. This was taken around 1am shortly after the Milky Way rose in the sky. The city lights of Tucson are lighting up the foreground.
