There was no proper light for days while we were traveling along the south coast of Sri Lanka. I was waking early every morning,hoping to catch some good light at sunrise. On our last day before we headed inland, I was fortunate and woke to a beautiful morning with the sun rising over the Indian ocean.

Walking around Lake Hayes in the predawn, I found a footbridge overlooking these lovely reflections. I waited a chilly 40mins for the sun to come up but it was great to capture a unique pic.
