Patagonia is known for its often windy conditions. For most part of the year, you can expect winds with a speed of about 15 – 20 km/h (9 – 13 miles/h). In the summer months however, winds pick up and they can even reach speeds of about 120 km/h (74 miles/h).

May is a good month to see the Milky Way during the night. Unfortunately, during the new moon days, there were not the ideal conditions in order to create this shot.
The days passed and moon began to shine again in the sky. I waited until the moon set during the night, to see the Milky Way without any problem.
In my cousin’s company I headed to the Lighthouse Capo Murro di Porco. We scoured the land looking for a good composition to make the shots.
After a while we came to the conclusion that the human element was what we were looking for.
