Fukoku Seimei Building in Osaka

The building is one of the most photogenic architecture in Osaka,Japan. I’ve come to shot here many times but the architecture always gives me a new perspective.

A typhoon had passed over Osaka the day before, then I expected a good weather came:clear blue sky and rapid moving clouds.

My expectation was right. 4 minutes exposure was enough to capture this dramatic moment. The sunlight came from back of the main building, and the light reflected opposite building made some interesting patterns on the windows.

240sec.longexposures with 10+6stops ND filters, using lucroit 14-24 filter adapter + formatt-hitech filters.
I recommend for this kit for all Nikon 14-24 users!

One Minute on Earth!!! by fmarty

One Minute on Earth was the most exhilarating and bonding project at Kujaja.com in 2013. Today we celebrate the anniversary of this collaborative synchronized and simultaneous worldwide panorama that took place at 13:00 UTC on 06 April 2013. The project became a popular photobook in blurb.com and the proceeds from the book have been donated to Ashalayam—House of Hope, a foundation for street children in Kolkata, India.

I would like to invite you to participate in One Minute on Earth 2014! This year we plan to do the project on the next Solstice, 21 June 2014. Please click here for more information!

This image is a stereographic or “mini planet” projection of Boston’s downtown skyline and harbor from a photo taken on the day of the OMOE project (different from the one I posted last year) and that was voted to become the cover of last year’s book. I bet you can do better than this for this year’s book! We look forward to having you! We would love to have every country and every time zone represented with awesome photographs!

An old Indian cave located on a remote Turks and Caicos Island. Beautiful Caribbean sea glowing and warm sunlight bathing some remote palm trees on a deserted island.
