Long exposure of reflections from Landøya and Nesøya in Holmenfjorden, taken from Konglungen in Asker near Oslo, Norway about an hour after sunset. The major light pollution source is a greenhouse in the area. The light is reflected in the low slowly moving clouds, and then in the water of the Oslo Fjord, which have just been disturbed by a passing boat, smoothing the reflections because of the 30 second shutter time. From a single RAW file. The only processing is a small contrast adjustment, and slightly increased color saturation. The evening had quite unusual light conditions because of the fog, wind and the passing boat.

[Self-Car-Light-Painting]

Ancora lì, su quella strada di ritorno che portava a valle.
Ancora lì, in quel tornante insidioso ma affascinante.
Si, ancora lì a divertirmi con il “self car light painting”
perché proprio non voleva passare nessuno… probabilmente per l’ora insolita ?

Lì, divertendomi a comporre e guidare la mia auto per disegnare le scie nella foto mentre in realtà aspettavo che il tempo migliorasse almeno un po e che le nuvole lasciassero intravedere la tanto attesa via lattea.
A mia sorpresa qualcosa si inizia a vedere così non mi lascio scappare l’occasione per provarci nonostante le nuvole fossero ancora troppo abbondanti… mi son detto: ora o mai più!

Non è proprio il massimo per la via lattea ma nonostante tutto ho deciso di tenere lo scatto, quelle nuvole , sebbene coprissero quasi il meglio della galassia , hanno un loro fascino.

Questo è l’ultimo scatto di quella notte matta, tra ore passate immerso nella nebbia, ore aspettando che transitasse qualcuno per il “car light painting” e per non parlare delle nuvole poi… ma ne è valsa la pena. La location sebbene non perfetta ha tanto da dare, soprattutto di notte !
