Taken at the Wildlife Park near where I live.The park cares for injured animals that cannot survive on their own…a bear, a panther, foxes.Many of the birds there have freedom of flight.

This is part of the coat of the resident Hippopotamus – Lucifer – who lives there He had been in several movies and years ago there fate was determined.

This herd of fallow deer was photographed at sunrise in the new forest national park. I was busy taking landscape photos but when I packed up to return to the car I turned around to find this. Shortly after taking this photograph they disappeared back into the thick gorse, where they spend most of their day.
