A pathway of golden larches glow as the sunlight briefly breaks through the clouds during a beautiful Autumn morning in the North Cascades. This was taken during a fun trip last year with my friend Maryanne Trengove. Such a wonderful fleeting moment that I felt lucky to be able to witness and capture. I’m thankful to have this area in my backyard…there is always so much to explore.

When I led a workshop in the Canadian Rockies winter, we encountered big wind gust, and five of my teammates were blown away about 100 meters. The snow got thrown high up to the sky, and it traveled across the lake with obvious trails. I held my tripod tightly and captured this scene, with my eyes full of tears and my mouth were filled with snow.
