I drove up to the north shore in hopes of getting some shots of the rocks near the shore. The waves were huge (>20 feet I believe) and after nearly getting soaked up to my waist by a rogue wave (one that went up twice as high on the shore than the others), I decided to stay way back from the rocks. This kind of left me without a good subject, but the clouds were doing some interesting things, so I decided to experiment with some really long exposures as the sun went down. This is the result.

I took this picture near Joklsarlon, Iceland. Behind the car, you can see the Vatnajökull, also known as the Vatna Glacier, witch is the largest and most voluminous ice cap in Iceland, and one of the largest in area in Europe.
