A long time ago I don’t go to the Benijo beach. Reviewing the file, I have found this photo that I took in 2014 of “Roque de Benijo” in sunset. A volcanic basalt rock, bathed by the sea in a beautiful black sand beach. Only Camera Raw processed … I hope you like it. Thank you so much for viewing my images!

Hace bastante tiempo que no paseo por la playa de Benijo, así que tirando de archivo, he recuperado esta imagen captada en 2014 al atardecer. Revelado Camera Raw. Espero que os guste.

Viana Palace. Córdoba. Spain. 2015.
Visit my blog: http://ift.tt/1Xr1wcA

This impressive palace, situated in the plaza de Don Gome, is surrounded by twelve splendid patios and a marvellous garden. A stunning variety of flowering plants decorate and scent every nook and cranny of this splendid museum.

The original flavour of this 14th century palace was kept intact by the last Marquis of Viana, Sophia of Lancaster.
Inside, the numerous palace rooms house a wide range of collections (paintings, dinner sets, mosaics, tapestries, decorative tiles, firearms, and so on). There is also an outstanding collection of embossed leatherwork and a fascinating 16th-18th century library. The sheer quality of the exhibits makes this one of the most worthwhile visits a visitor to Cordoba can make.

Seeing the sun rise against the silhouetted buttes of Monument Valley was one of the coolest things I have had the fortune of witnessing.

WORKSHOPS

Post Processing Video Tutorials

I took this a few years back. One of my new favorites. Because I lead back to back workshops from July to November in the SW, I have not been to Glacier National Park for nearly 3 years. I really miss it.

BTW, “ULTIMATE LIGHTROOM RAW” is now available on my website. The definitive Lightroom Video Tutorial (a full 7.5 hour course) for nature / landscape photographers, if you are interested…

Questions by dss1960 by dss1960

I asked myself the question “Do I really care about others? What reputation do I want for myself? Do I want to be known as a friend, someone who respects and values others? Or do I want to be known as someone who thinks only of himself?”

I determined to go out and be that friend who cares, who respects, who shows dignity toward others. Then I hit traffic during morning rush hour. Some idiot cut in front of me on a red light, making juvenile faces as she drove past. Another car had a bumper sticker of a middle finger waving in my face. I found myself cursing other drivers and hating humanity as a whole. My lofty goal turned into a sad reality.

It seems like respect toward others and genuine kindness are relics of the past. Our American Presidential campaign has been based solely on anger, hatred and disrespect. Everyone screams for tolerance and respect, but what they mean is “Agree with me because I’m right and you’re wrong. And if you do disagree with me I’ll take to the Internet to degrade you and your beliefs. I’ll boycott, I’ll sue.”

The Internet has become a playground for those whose intention is to tear down and destroy others. This website can be no different. A critique soon becomes an insult. Two camps quickly form, lobbing verbal grenades at each other in the name of lofty ideals and philosophies related to photography. Meanwhile around the world, people are suffering and dying. Children are being sold into slavery. Planes are dropping into the Mediterranean.

So I asked myself the question, “Do I really care?” On most days, I know the answer. On other days, I’m just not sure. I want to be sure. Tomorrow will be better. Just need to stay out of traffic.
