After driving from Tampa to Orlando, flying from Orlando to Keflavik airport in Iceland, taking the bus to Reykjavik, getting a shuttle to the car rental, adjusting to the new rental van I find myself driving several hours north-west towards Kirkjufell. Tired.. yes. enjoying it. absolutely…
Here I am taking photos in the middle of the road about a half of an hour out of Kirkjufell and soaking in the beauty of this wonderful place.

The past March, I spent a week at Lake Baikal to shoot landscape photos, the ice was apparently not at its best condition, but the ice caves were pretty good, with thousands of windows like this, pure blue frame, beautiful sunshine coming in.
