Unleashed by Nicola_Pirondini by Nicola_Pirondini

One of the most spectacular skies I’ve ever witnessed. A really fascinating stormy sunset and a beautifully structured supercell caught in the plains of northern Italy.
The majesty of those clouds made me feel so little and powerless. Nature is so strong 🙂
Hope you enjoy the capture. Have a nice evening everyone,
Nicola

Watching The Sea Come In by TheNarratographer by TheNarratographer

If you want to learn how I process my images, my workflow and lighting techniques.

There were some strange clouds this morning at Durdle Door.

I was supposed to go to Ladram Bay, but having woken up way too late to make the drive in time, I settled once more on Durdle Door. When I arrived, the sky was bland and a little insipid, but by the time the sun was ready to make an appearance, some of the most contrasty and detailed clouds I have ever seen arrived. It was almost nuclear, such was the way the clouds erupted from the sea. The spiralled and soared way into the sky, spray-painted with streaks of orange.

I did some wide angled landscapes and a couple of panoramas, wanting to make the most of this unusual cloud formation at this strange place. I was alone, except for another photographer who having started on the beach, eventually joined me on the cliff face. I didn’t get his name, but he seemed like a nice chap. Anyway, he stars in one of the images.

First Light by EdwinMartinez by EdwinMartinez

I think Vestrahorn is beautiful during sunrise. As the first light hits the sand dunes and the mountains, the glow it creates is just a like a scene in a science fiction movie. Please check more of my work on my main page.

American Layers by NathanielMerz by NathanielMerz

Where I live in Korea, most of my landscapes involve rolling mountain layers and after shooting here for the past couple years I found myself in that same visual mood when I went back home to America for a family trip through Oregon. This shot was taken at the Painted Hills overlook on the opposite side that overlooks the Painted Hills themselves. The Hills themselves were of course stunning but something about this simple expanse of rolling hills and grass was so beautiful in this moment.
