WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

I had some very interesting and diverse weather during my 6 week exploration in Patagonia. The cold, windless and cloudless nights created a thick layer of clouds over the water surfaces during the night. This layer was too thick for the winter sun to clear during the day. Here a sea of clouds is coming from one of the bigger lakes as the sun is already set. I had explored and discovered everything I could have imagined for my upcoming workshop and had a few days left before my plane would leave.

We were fortunate to hike the narrows because the hike had been closed for months and opened just days before we visited, because the water level has been unusually high for this time of year due to snow melt. The rushing water made a striking difference compared to my previous trip a couple years ago. It just goes to show that even though this is one of the most photographed places in the southwest, you can never photograph it the same way twice. It is always worth it to return 🙂
