The Cinque Terre is one of my absolute favorite places to visit. The food, quaint villages, hiking and sea views are all incredible. This evening, I almost skipped shooting. The sky was completely overcast and gray, and I was tired from a long day of hiking and eating. However, I rarely skip an opportunity to shoot, and headed up to this classic viewpoint. The clouds began to thin out at the horizon, and lit things up nicely, but nothing crazy. Then, about 10 minutes after sunset the sky exploded with color for about 60 seconds. It was one of the best sunsets I can remember. Combine that with great company, a bottle of wine and some great food…and it was quite a memorable experience! Interested in seeing more of my work?
