Monument Valley Sunrise by Jonkmanphotography by Jonkmanphotography

A beautiful morning after a very stormy evening! This sunrise sure came as a beautiful surprise after that night of rain, wind, thunder and other loud things heard from my tent. Luckily I was able to capture some of the electrical storm over the mittens for a later post. This photograph is 5 exposures hand blended together for dynamic range. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for taking time to look or for any constructive comments.

Red Glow by GreggB by GreggB

I had to take this shot down and reprocess it. It had some small issues here and there I didn’t notice before. It looks better to me now.
So, here it is again. Taken early in the morning in Patagonia Argentina.

Glimpse Of Hope by MythLands by MythLands

One of the most impressive peaks of the Dolomites surrounded by dark clouds just before a very stormy night. Not the dream weather for landscape photographers, but the mood was incredible for me and I could not miss the chance of capturing it. The night was crazy, we were in our tents while a big thunderstorm was passing on our heads…Call me crazy but It was amazing! I will never forget that night.

Nicola

The magic place by ManuelMartin1972 by ManuelMartin1972

I see this place at least once a week when I make some walks with our dog in the woods. And during the last few years I witnessed how this place changed with the seasons of the year. And I must admit that this area looks like garbage … not very pleasing most of the time. There is literally a mess of twigs, fallen tree trunks, grasses and flowers. But for only some very short time in the year this place turns as kissed by a frog prince into something wonderful and fascinating. During this time in the year the leaves have grown big enough to cover the ground with the ugly things and miraculously this affects the entire area, as if a new floor emerged from nowhere. Last year I had the chance to be here exactly when the weather was the right one for this place and I could make this shot here!

Thank you for your time and interest in my photos, your visit is most appreciated 🙂

Reappearance, South Iceland by lisabettany by lisabettany

And then the crowd parted and one figure remained…

I waited ages, days it felt like, for the crowds of people to leave this extremely popular spot to grab this lone figure agains the epic falls. The weather was just about to turn and moments after I took this shot I had to make a mad dash for shelter as it started to HAIL. Oh Icelandic weather… You can never be too prepared.

devil’s bridge by al_photography by al_photography

The Devil’s Bridge built in 1826 is located in the park “Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe” (UNESCO) in Kassel and part of the famous water feature which is taking place for two times a week.
The water is coming down for around 20 minutes only and hundreds of people are staying around and watching this. So I’ve waited there fore some time until everyone was gone and combined two shots to remove all people and to create a really unique photo.
