It was a nice quiet afternoon in El Chalten, Argentina when we looked out the window a saw that we were going to be attacked by his noodly appendages! What were we to do, except get in the car and run as far away as possible.

As we crested a small rise in the road, I stuck my head out the window and liked back to see this angry deity lashing out at the mountain range behind us. Despite the 70mph winds, we pulled to the side of the road and took a few pictures as these forces of nature did battle beneath the setting sun!

Yet some more steps and I’ll be out of this cold winter!
