Had another go at processing an old favourite photo of mine from 2012 in Iceland of a sunrise that still rates among the best I’ve seen with the camera. This was at the lonely, desolate Strandir coast on the north shore of the Westfjords, more specifically a place called Krossnes, where, despite the utter lack of people (at least when we were there) and the feeling that we were very close to the World’s End, there was a well equipped swimming pool.

Terrific conditions at the Carolafelsen in Saxony Switzerland. The setting sun illuminated the entire valley so that the young and fresh leaves immediately turned yellow. This time I deceided to go without a classic foreground in the sense of a rock formation, since I figured the huge oak tree in the valley as well as all the foliage serve that function quite well.
I am really happy with this shot, hope you like it as well as I do and as ususal let me hear your thoughts!

Sorry to those that may have seen this last night but upon looking again it posted a little darker than I wanted. I did want a little darker around the edges to help bring out the water, but not that dark. So here is a re post of a double exposure. One for the water and one for the foliage.
