The wild and rugged coastline of Muriwai Beach. The black sand is caused by the iron content derived from the ancient volcanoes in the area. These include the large “Kaipara Volcano” which was situated offshore from the Kaipara Heads, and erupted 23-16 million years ago. Sand is moved up the west coast of the North Island by longshore drift. North Island, New Zealand.

El cabo de Gracia o punta de Gracia se encuentra dentro del término municipal de Tarifa, en la provincia de Cádiz, (Andalucía, España). Está coronado por una torre, construida en 1577 e inicialmente llamada ‘Torre del Cabo de Gracia’ o ‘Torre Vieja’, y que actualmente se la conoce como faro de Camarinal.

El cabo está situado entre la playa de El Cañuelo y la playa de los Alemanes, cerca de Zahara de los Atunes.
