This was my first attempt of putting an ND filter and shooting straight into the sun. I walked around a lot to find the proper foreground element, but I like the look of it with the silky water!

I sent this shot to all my friends on snap chat and collected name ideas and the one I went with was “heaven Above”

May 7/8th from 1130-130am I was able to photograph the stunning aurora display that took place! Perfect timing for mother’s day as it was “mother” nature showing off her beauty to the world. I was able to watch it and appreciate it with my creator as well ( love you mom )words cant describe how magical of a moment it was and how blessed I am to be surrounded by my amazing mom and mother nature! I hope every one was able to witness this event as it was one of the best ones ive scene in 5 years of aurora hunting.
Location Hazel bluff church Just outside of Westlock AB, also happens to be the resting place of one of my grandpa’s making this moment even more special to me. Hope you guys enjoy

This Majestic vast I mean really vast empty red soil land gives a feeling known as “out of the world”. Topped with no population, untouched by humanly construction this add to serenity of the region, calmness adds to its enchanted nature. Its so quite you can hear the blood rushing in your veins.
