I was quite happily rewarded with this sunrise on a cold Autumn day in Maroubra but was made to feel quite weak in my complaining about the cold when a group of 60+ year old men decided to jump in for their morning swim.

May has finally arrived. In this month it’s possible to distinguish in the sky, during the night, the brightest part of the Milky Way.
After having planned day by day, checked the weather forecast and the exact position of the Milky Way, I set off in company of my friend in the direction of Syracuse, to the Lighthouse Capo Murro di Porco.
The sky was clear and no natural light disturbed the observation of thestars. So I chose a spot to position my camera and capture the Milky Way as best as possible, with a good foreground subject that could enhance it better.

The Hills golf club is a private golf course owned by Sir Michael Hill, a billionaire and one of the richest men in New Zealand. This is the view from his lodge on the course and it’s a breath-taking scenery.

We are close to finish our awesome Altiplano expedition! Today we crossed the border from Bolivia to Chile. We are travelling at Altiplano for almost 2 weeks already. It was so stunning today to have a hot shower, sleep not under 6 heavy Bolivian wool blankets and find wi-fi in hotel in Putre! We still have to explore the Lauca national park of Chile. In 2 days our expedition will be finished at the seashore of Arica. We got internet connection only today, so keep inspired by upcoming photos and stories from our adventures!
Altiplano is very close to the sky. Sometimes even closer than you can imagine. This is panorama at flooded Uyuni (Tunupa) salt flats.
