La digue du petit port morbihanais de Lomener est particulièrement prisée par les photographes, les jours de gros temps.
En ce 11 janvier 2016, la houle était particulièrement impréssionnante, mais une lumière fade, voire inexistante empêchait de sortir de bonnes images.
Et puis il y a eu cette vague « pas comme les autres » qui a surgi dans un rai de lumière aussi furtif qu’imprévu venant percer le ciel plombé.

After spending the early hours of the morning shooting Salto Grande under the full moon, we headed off in search of a sunrise composition. On stumbling across this almost unbelievable scene with Paine Grande and the Cuernos reflected in a small lagoon, there was never any doubt about staying for sunrise.

Dear Friends,
I have been trying to explore the surrounding region and pick spots that can be interesting photographic locations. Had heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out. It is hidden from the common eye but still pretty busy.
It is close to the Whitsunday Islands which is a very hot tourist destination.
I thought I had done my homework by doing the weather check and it would be cloudy to allow for good shooting conditions but that wasn’t the case. I went around in circles to find a good viewpoint and then let the filters do the work. This is a 336 second exposure.
