Another photo of the beautiful tornadic supercell in the Great Plains north of Leoti, Kansas. The most amazing storm of our “chasecation” high fives at the end of its lifetime. I still cannot believe how generous mother nature had been that special day!

It was a banner year for wildflowers in the Columbia River Gorge. Flowers were full, and in abundance. For only a small window during the year, dense lupine and balsamroot surround this rusty, abandoned car. It is easy to feel like you’re in another world when you are here.

This was a tricky image to bring together. Multiple images were used for focus and dynamic range. Some artistic liberties were used when making this image.

The Oregon coastline just after sunset. Seal Rock, where the compositions change by the minute with the rising and falling tide, revealing interesting formations like this one.
