The Green Lantern’s light | Jokulsarlon, Iceland 2016
Another glacier lagoon photograph, with dancing streaks of the northern lights. This was a memorable night for me since this where I was continuously pushing myself to get this shot. I forgot my wading boots in the bus and just had to submerge my hiking shoes in the freezing brackish water.
Participants from this tour would probably laugh if they recall what I was shouting when the fireworks showed up. I kept saying to myself aloud “Suck it up, Edwin! You can do this.” as my toes felt numb.
