Client ordered this Big Hogan print from my old Monument Valley gallery today. I didn’t really like the quality of the file that was developed 10 years ago. Hard to believe – I took this picture in April of 2006…
Image-processing tools went very far since then, so I decided to go back to the “dark room” and see what could be done.

Surreal predawn light fills the sky over the Watagan mountains. Mount Warrawolong, the highest peak in the Watagans at 641m, is capped with an orographic cloud. The Watagan Mountains are a wilderness area that forms part of the Great Dividing Range, located in the Hunter region of New South Wales, Australia.
